Marked as the 17th week of international Israeli Apartheid Week from March 13-27th– “ a global week of action that aims to raise awareness about Israel’s racial discrimination against the Palestinian people”--

Time and time again, universities stay performative and complacent about the injustices of marginalized communities. 

“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” chanted across Britain by students, further proving that there is hope for a better world. Swain does a great job informing the reader about the desperate need for solidarity for anti-colonial and anti-apartheid struggles by listing the actions of students, from campaigning to lobbying on their university campuses–ensuring that universities cease to invest and have business with complicit companies that are in political alliances with the Israeli government.
